Jackie Barnes

Lead Musician, violinist, guitarist, & bangoist

Jackie grew up in Wilmington, NC, where he studied violin as well as viola, mandolin, guitar, and piano.  His studies flourished under the leadership of Roy Robuck and Nancy Bargerstock.  He holds a degree in violin performance from Appalachian State University.

Jackie's versatile style includes classical, jazz, folk, rock, and more. He has also worked as a recording artist on several albums and genres.  

Current ventures include playing in a jazz/folk band, teaching private students, and performing with the Johnson City Symphony.
